Default Normal 1/8th mile ET for stock mach?

Just wondering what everyone else is running? Two weeks ago we took a friend on mines Mach to the track. I've always run gt's so I wasn't expecting too much from a stock mach. It surprised me when it ran a 8.5x! I'm just wondering if that's the average for these cars stock or if it's a "factory freak"? It did that with a 2.1 60ft on street tires as well. I'm in the process of installing a Harris nitrous kit, MSD window switch, Tri ax shifter, purge kit, 3.90 gears, longtube headers, and adjustable clutch cable on it now. O and a set of MT drag radials. It should pick up a lot from that I figure. Anyway, what are you guys running stock?

O yea it was on street tires. It only cut a 2.1 60ft. That'll drop to about a 1.7 with the drag radials I'm sure. It just hauls for some reason.

WOW! I may get me one of these. I'm impressed at the difference the 32v motor makes over the GT! We tried the car on 100 shot Friday night on the street and it took it real good. The clutch cable and quadrant was a little pain to install but we got it done. We tried going to the track Friday night but it got rained out. We are going to try again this afternoon. Hopefully the rain will hold back.

You're 8.5x @ 87 is really good, as good as they come from what I've seen. My best 60' with stock tires and gears is 1.98 and that was a 8.5x if I remember correctly so I'd say your times are right on. Rebel I gotta disagree with ya on this one, for the very first time probably.
