Engine service light went on, checked the code and it showed P0358. Any suggestions?
P0351 Through P0360 - Ignition Coil A through J Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
Description:
Each ignition primary circuit is continuously monitored. The test fails when the PCM does not receive a valid IDM pulse signal from the ignition module (integrated in PCM).
Possible causes:
Open or short in Ignition START/RUN circuit
Open coil driver circuit in harness
Coil driver circuit shorted to ground
Damaged coil
Damaged PCM
Coil driver circuit shorted to PWR
is that the only code or do you have misfire codes as well? if you can figure out witch coil is setting the fault i would swap it to another cyl and see if the fault fallows the coil if so buy a coil
thats the only code that popped up. I need to check the coils. If I need new coil what would u brand recommend and while im at it what spark plugs u guys recommend.

well went to a friend of mine, we switched out the coils and plug. Code kept reading
p0358, my hand held tune wouldnt delete it so we went auto zone to delete it and it did. But I think im either going to switch out the coils and plugs or go to car max since i still have warranty. Do u think my intake will void the warranty?
