thanks for the input guys. after driving the car I think the first thing to go is grandpa's farm truck shifter... good god the stock shifter is like shifting a mac truck..

^ LOL good first mod. Steeda triax= shifts like butter.

Mods: C&L intake, Mac prochamber, Moser 31 spline axles, FRPP trac-lok, FRPP 4.10s, Steeda Tri-ax short shifter, SSS catback, PHP 3/8 intake spacer, VMP custom tune(SCT).
....I foresee a squeaky belt in my future.....

I have the MGW short throw and love it. Most guys seems to go with the tri-ax and MGW. Both feel different and are 10000 times better then the stock. Congrats on the new ride

well maybe I jumped the gun, I ordered a Hurst comp short shifter... Hope it works ok.
