I think I'm back in the Mach club.. for the 3rd time
I think I have car ADD. I keep selling my Machs (2 now) and then find myself back on Autotrader searching for another one a month or 3 later. Well, I found a 2003 DSG manual Mach up in VA with 22k miles on it. It has a borla cat-back, and an intake spacer, otherwise bone stock. I'm buying it for $14,123 out the door. I am doing everything thru fax and email right now, and picking it up this Tuesday. Hopefully, this one will stay in the family for more than 1.5-2 years. I can't wait. The only thing I plan on doing to it is an ORX and some tint for now, and a drop in filter. Anyway, just thought I'd give you guys the heads up. I will post the link where I bought it as soon as the deal is finalized. I seriously was in a race against 3 others to get my paperwork in before they did, lol.

Glad to hear your getting another mach, but to keep selling a mach to buy another mach makes no sense. By now you could have had a turbo or supercharged mach with all the moeny you spent on them. O and by the way I hope the borla catback in not the stingers, an o/r x with borla stingers sounds like sh*t, I have aleady had that setup lol.

LOL see you knew there was only 1 real car for us...
What can I say man, lol! The 4V Mach just has the feel I dig. The 3V top doesn't quite match up to the Mach either. The Mach is raw, the S197 is refined.

I haven't decided yet. I'll probably try to sale it. I've got a couple guys interested, but I'm not sure I want to part with it. Plus, I really just now got it running decent ETs.

I haven't traded, or sold any Machs, for another Mach. It's a long story, but I traded the first Mach in on an SI Sedan, and broke even. The second Mach I bought separately and later traded it along with a miata and the SI in on this 2009 GT, and seriously only lost about $500 on the Mach. The other two had been paid down a good bit, so I came out of there with no negative equity. In other words, I've managed to eek thru the process relatively well. I did lose on some parts, but thats the way it goes.
I'm not sure if they are stingers or not. If they end up sounding like shat, I'll throw something else on there.

If their stingers just go with a Bassani catted x pipe, sounds amazing!
Edit: You have any pics of your S197? I remember I traded my mach in on one, which I sold to get my termiantor. The S197 just does not feel like a mustang to me, idk why. The shifter position in the S197 is the best thou!
