I figured it was something simple, it is alot easier to talk on the phone to solve issues like that. Forums are great help but relaying specific instruction can be difficult.
So how do you like the new tune?

It's prolly as good as a canned tune gets. I felt a seat-of-the-pants difference, mainly in the mid-range. It impressed me as I never felt anything with the 7r50d revision. Finally got in the 12s so maybe the new tune help but I know my driving has gotten better too.

With my car 7r50d tune only netted me 18 degrees for a brief time at WOT. My custom tune is based of 9r07b and during data logging my timing was between 24-21.5 from 2k-7k. I would be curious to see what kinda timing you are getting at WOT.

Man, I wouldn't know if it was good or bad even if I had a mac daddy computer sitting in my lap anyhow, unless it told me in plain words "good" or "bad". I just bought a set of 97 cobra cams off a dude on M1R. Along with the longtubes and catted X I bought last week off of M1R I'm gonna take the car to a dyno tune and have them work thier magic.

You can data log with your Predator. Plug it in go through the menus I am sure you can figure it out. Good luck with that upgrade I like mine the way it is seems like a lot of work but if you have the bread to spend so be it. I myself had a fast Chevelle 20 years back so I have been there. I got it running mid 10's when it was all said and done and yes it was alot of fun to drive. I am uploading videos to my Facebook account as I am typing this from 1991 the car was running 10:80's and 90's foot braking my th400. I finally went to a powerglide and a 8 inch converter and a trans brake became more consistent but did lose some of the fun factor.
