2003 Mach1 Vortech FMU
I need some assitance on installing a Vortech FMU to my 2003 Mach 1 Mustang. Has anyone ever installed one and can you show me how it is done? It seems this is like the Loch Ness Monster on the internet; if there are pictures, they are fuzzy and impossible to decipher. I would appreciate any help given.

I guess the reason I cannot find information on this install is because it is not possible. The 2003 Mach1's have a returnless system and therefore cannot have a vacuum style FMU installed. If you want an FMU on these type systems you have to buy an Aeromotive Ford Mustang Digital FMU System.
"Aeromotive Ford Mustang digital FMU systems feature a fully adjustable, scalable, electronic fuel pump controller. Used with an external inline fuel pump, the billet digital FMU systems create a programmable FMU for use with returnless fuel systems. They sense manifold pressure and automatically control the external pump, providing the fuel pressure that you dial in. Now you can add forced induction to any returnless fuel system application and maintain the proper air/fuel ratio under all WOT operating conditions."
The price is up there at about $600+ Rather a huge dissapointment as I have spent a fortune on this car and did not want to have to spend more.
I honestly hope this will help others make decisions before they buy something they cannot use like I did.
