what rpms are you seeing at 80mph? that will be an indicator of a possible rear end gear swap.

Its worth a try but if the previous owner never adjusted the speedo for the new gears then it will still read as if it still has 3.55s.

well, in 5th gear @ 80mph.....im at 2300 RPM
