Default Headers for friend

Hey guys, my friend saw the ARH I got and was convinced he had to get headers him self lol. He wants to get good headers but doesn't want to spend that much as the ARH because he is on a low budget. So the question is that what are some good cheap headers he can get for his 03 auto mach 1. I already looked at some pacesetters and bbk, if there is any others let me know; just need input on what you guys would go with.

If it can't be Kooks or ARH and he can't find a good deal on some SLPs then I would say Mac, forget BBK or Pacesetters. Just remind him that if the trans. has to come off then so do the headers.

oh I forgot about slp lol, I suppose its like the ARH where you don't have to remove headers to get to transmission correct?

I heard MAC headers were good, so now my friend has narrowed down to 2 possibilites. Mac or Pacesetters. Has anyone heard anything about pacesetter headers?

In this order:

ARH>Kooks>Stainless Works>SLP>Mac>BBK>Pacesetters

Remember with cheaper headers, you will not be able to drop the trans with out removing them. IMO, I would tell you friend to just save the money he was going to spend on a set and maybe set it aside and keep adding money to it till he has enough for a good brand. You always feel better/Appreciate a part more when you have to save for it

I agree with the saving for the good stuff. However, while saving keep an open eye for a good deal on a used set of good stuff. The deal I fell into was a freak of nature I think, but something around 40-50% off the retail price for a good used set is out there somewhere. Good to see you updated your sig. Get your LTs on! They DO make a difference.
