Thanks for all the replies. I don’t think I will be going the NOS route because I like the power to always be there. I know with NOS I could get the speed I want in the quarter mile, but I don’t look at it like that.

For me I like a fun street car. When I go to the track, I have fun but Im only there to see where the car is at performance wise. For other people they live for the track and that’s where they find happiness in their cars. But for me, its on the street. I don’t street race people or drive like an *******, but when the time is right I have fun.

RYGI23- I see we have thought the same in the past about cost vs performance gain. To me a supercharger is the best bang for the buck! I look at it like this, $1,200 dollars for long tubes with about 15rwhp gain equals $80 dollars per hp. Lets say I’m making roughly 300rwhp right now. With the supercharger putting me up to 450rwhp for $5,500 dollars equals $30 dollars per rwhp!

I think I will be leaning towards ATI unless anyone can give me a good reason to go vortech. Of coarse I am not rich and it will probably take a year to see this through.

But I thinkj you should get the longtubes anyway 954mach1. Make sure your car is built right for the super charger. I have longtubes, o/r bassani x pipe, bassani cat back. sct tune and a vortech sc trim blower and I made 440 rwhp at 8 lbs of boost.

But funny thing I absolutely demolished a 2010 camaro ss last night epic!!

good kill...I was told that our stock manifolds can hold the power of a supercharger just fine..

I'm right there with ya on figuring the cost/hp ratio. But still....$5500!!! If you got the $ then definitly live it up. I second you on the stock manifolds handling f/i just fine, but they do have a big impact on peak f/i hp so I'm not totally sure if the 450 on 8 lbs is doable unless all of your ducks are in a perfect row. Not saying it isn't, you get my point though. Like I said..if you got the funds then have at it. Yours will be one more Mach I'll be envious of.
