Because I dont need two V8 sports cars and I live in an apt. Plus I wanted something different. I can always get back into a mustang since they are dime a dozen and typically cheaper than a GTO of the same year.

But congrats on the GTO. They do look good in red, though I might wish they had styled em a little differently, but you can't complain about the power. Which year is it, I didn't see if it was said...? Is it an LS1 or LS2 model? Gotta love them LS2s especially...

2004 Silver M6 74K mi
Pacesetter Longtubes
Catless mids
Stainless Works 3" dual catback with muffler deletes (I have the SW mufflers)
Yes it's loud a ****....too loud actually and I'm itching to figure out the best zero drone system for cruising speeds.
Since owning it I've put in a DSS 3.5" aluminum 1 pc DS, rotorpros brakes and Hawk HPS pads are on their way and some Federal 595 tires will ne next.
Once those thing NEEDING attention/fixed are done, then I'll adress the exhaust.

Thanks man. It was time for something different...
I may get back into one but I would make it a weekend car. The ride comfort of the GTO is hands down much better. Hydraulic clutch is proving VERY nice over the cable clutch for a DD as well.
I will still linger. Once I get it cleaned up to where I like it, I will toss some pics up.

I am a big (huge) fan of the STR-8'S.. Rob (PurpleIcedGT) and I were talking about the Chrager SRT-8 about two weeks ago.. Those cars are bad as*! Once I retire in two yrs from the military I'm thinking about getting me one. OP since you've alreadly started on your build I would suggest getting it done. GL my man!
