Catted X pipe with Borla Stingers
I currently have an O/R X pipe, and after three years with my current setup, I need to make the car a little quieter. My choices are currently SLP, Bassani, or Magnaflow.
Is there any noticeable power/sound difference between these three? I looked through the sound clip thread at the top of the forum and didn't see much with my exact setup.
Thanks,
Kevin

They're all the same. Get the one you find the best deal on. I had a Magnaflow x-pipe and had no problems. If I went back to catted I would go with a VRS pipe. I have their o/r x-pipe right now and love it.

And they are a true "X". I think SLP, Bassani, and Magnaflow all go into a chamber type deal in the crossover portion. I could be wrong.

I've actually never noticed the different designs in the "X" chambers before.
Based on the pics at American Muscle, both the Bassani and the BBK have a large chamber separating the two pipes. The Magnaflow is closer, but only the SLP and the Pypes have a true "X".
I looked at VRS, but couldn't find a full length with cats.
