Default whats the deal on this shift ****?

i have never seen a mach 1 with this shift ****, and this is the only picture i can find that has it. my mach 1 is the only one ive ever seen with it.

Looks like the stock **** that came on my 99 and I'm guessing all the GT's for that year too.

It's also weird how the hood does not appear to exist in that photo.

Actually, maybe that car is a Bullitt? The manual trans Mach's can rev to 7 grand IIRC.

i dont know. i just noticed th incorrect redline. but that is definitely the mach 1 seats. but you're right. that redline is for the auto machs.

That's really strange. The rest of the interior seems like a Mach 1 with the exception of the shift **** and the tach. I found a thread below with a pic of the Bullitt seats and the lines in the stitching go the other way (front to rear vs side to side like the Mach's).

The OP looks like a stock photo so maybe its a preproduction model or something.
