Happy with new tires, great price
I just broke 56,000 miles on my daily driver. Was due for tires, wanted something great for the Interstate drive to work and reliable in case I need to get down on the gas. Did my research, very happy with these tires. Firestone Firehawk Wideoval Indy 500's- rated W(168mph), not that it matters, but an affordable performance tire. Online quote was $508 for 4, got to TiresPlus and when they rang them up it was $490 before tax. Recommend highly for daily driving.

Those are exactly the tires that I chewed up with my spring cutting fiasco. They are nice tires and am eager to get a new set when I get my suspension geometry unscrewed.

Actually I'm hoping that a good alignment has taken care of the problem. I took the back tires that have several thousand on them and put them up front so I won't shred my brand new tires if it is still screwed up.
A few weeks of driving should tell me if that was the problem all along.
Trying to find a good front end shop after the one that I've been using for over 30 years closed up is almost as traumatic as having to find a new barber.
