Hello,
I have an early built Mustang with a 170 six cylinder automatic.
I was wondering if someone could tell me why some of the early ones have a piece of chrome trim in the cove and some do not.
Mine does not. It is very plain, I do not mind, I was just wondering why.

Also, did Ford paint any of the trunks with a spatter type of paint, or did every Mustang trunk come painted in the same color as the car. My car was originally Raven Black, but has been painted in Signal Flare Red. The trunk is spatter painted but looks very professional and the rear quarters appear to be original.
