Tuners in maryland?

Anyone have any preferred tuners in Maryland? I live in ellicott city and was wondering if there's any places close by.

JPC and woodbine motor sports are two I know that are not too far from you.

If you don't mind the ride, come to Smyrna De to my tuner

Matt is the best and worth your ride!!! Give him a call and mention me, Lizzyfan or Fred

Hey lizzy! I don't really mind the drive all that much, but do you now how much he charges to get a tune? Also with a tune, can I run that all the time and it won't hurt anything or do anything bad in the long run?

lizzyfan 03-15-2012 07:53 PM

Yea, you can run it all the time or switch back to stock. Gonna need an SCT tuner also!
Give Matt a call and BTW he's having an open house this Sat from 9 AM till ? Be cool if you came by but if not still give Matt a call, less expensive than most tuners!

98mustangkidd 03-15-2012 08:18 PM

Alright! Yeah I've been looking into a tuner, just working on the cash for the stuff I'm doing to my car. Port and polishing heads and other random upgrades.. So do you advice I get a tune because I'm porting my heads? And I can't this sat. I'm stuck in drivers improvement class for a damn stop sign ticket. Cop said "you were close, but you only stopped for 3.5 seconds". Talk about some BS!

lizzyfan 03-15-2012 08:37 PM

Yea definitely get a tune for ported heads

madjimmax 04-11-2012 09:46 PM

another one for JPC

owero01 04-24-2012 10:20 PM

I highly recommend JPC.

MustangKidd, did you find what you were looking for? How did it work out? I'm in Ellicott City as well, curious about some newb-friendly shops that will help you understand and not talk to you like an idiot.

Wheres JPC located? I just moved here and need a tune for 93 octane instead of my old 91 tune.

Adam Browne does my tuning. And Vaughn Gittin Jr's. And CJ Pony Parts' too.

His new shop is off of Pulaski Hwy in Rosedale.
