The mechanic i've been going to for the past 10 years has always done great work for me. Do you have the other necessary things to go with the springs, such as LCA relocation brackets?

I have no experience lowering any car. I figured that i would just buy the lowering springs and that'd be fine. Am i wrong?

Search around a bit before making most of your purchases!

Using lowering springs on the stock struts will make your rear end geometry a little weird and cause some pre-mature tire wear. Now mind you, this is coming from GT suspension things, as most who get springs usually get a set of LCA's and relocation brackets. So it will lower the car, and you wont have odd tire wear.

Personally I would save up till you can do it all at once. I think the biggest question is how much of a drop do the springs give you and what brand? And i imagine all 4 corners as well?

Are there any Sixxers that have lowered their cars? I imagine so, just shoot them a PM. They've done it, therefore are more knowledgeable.

just an idea

Probably Ford racing springs. It says about 1.25" drop which i am fine with. During spring, summer, and fall there are 18" rims on the car. Winter its 16" rims with snows
