Default Getting cams

Yup, that's right, found a good deal here so I bought some Comp stage 2 cams, NSR. I am doing the install myself, provided that I can rent the spring compressor and chain wedge from Autozone, so is anybody interested in helping, or at least watching? Probably won't do the install until January or February because I don't drive it in the winter, but it should give me a good project, right?

I'd be willing to come and help / get in the way.

I could bring my torque wrenches?

I'll bring both. Also I have a U-joint for the in-lb one that makes life much easier, saved me when I pulled the intake off for my delete plate install

I am actually going to do those soon too, bought some stock ones and I am going to use Alvin Lab-Metal to plug up the holes. Probably won't have them for long though, I think I might get the FRPP intake manifold and a throttle body with my tax returns haha. Did you put your longtubes on? I did my shorties and now I want LT's, but don't want to suffer through the removal and re-installation again, so how bad was the LT install?

Longtubes are on, and quite fun.

Install was as simple as possible because I dropped major coin for the ARH ones. They slipped in perfect and I have no rubbing or leaking issues.

Ya I decided I would get either Kooks or ARH ones, might make it a little easier. Taking my shorties off would suck so much though, I can guarantee that those bolts will be rusted, I mean it wouldn't be right if they weren't and it were easy, right? lol but ya that's why I think I'll do cams and all the intake and see where it puts. If I could get above 330 at the wheels then I would be satisfied, for now at least.

I would recommend the ARH because they are a true longtube, and the flange is a U shape and not closed so you can thread in 4 bolts up top, slide it in, one on the bottom and its secure.
