I'm thinking hold out for an Abarth. Seems like the way you really want to go anyway, and if you get something else, it'll probably remain in the back of you head that maybe you should have waited on finding the Fiat.

Well I went to check one out today at Kelly Fiat because they had one.

My appointment was for 1, but I was a little late. Turns out, some old geezer got there before me, took it for a test drive, and decided to buy it.

Sales guy said they are getting a few more in over the next few months, so he'll call me when the next one comes in.

They look pretty sweet, and I'll tell you what, the little F-er sounded mean too! I mean it comes with Koni suspension!

The sales guy was telling me these things are like toys for super rich people, which I thought was kinda funny. He said a guy came in the other day driving a SLS roadster (There is one in my town, maybe the same guy?) who also has an Enzo with 11 miles on it. Decided he wanted a fun car so he picked up an Abarth.

Stingers are the best, doesn't matter what engine they are for!

I've been meaning to make a video of the car while it's new anyways, but that'll give me more motivation. At minimum I'll record a short exhaust vid for you, though! As you'll see, the exhaust tips are HUGE. They definitely fill in the holes cut into the rear bumper cover.

We just need another local cruise so that you can hear them for yourself! No recording does them justice. They sound way better than the videos I've watched online. Mostly because the full body of the exhaust note can't really be captured without professional sound equipment.

+1. No video audio clip is ever going to accurately represent real life, and the only way to get an accurate impression is being there.

After the better part of a month with my car sidelined, I am practically rabid to get out and do something. Maybe we can figure out some sort of Aug cruise destination.

I actually think the Go-Pro does a good job at capturing the sound.

Maybe we should just plan a get-together and grill up some foodz!
