Pretty Good day at the track. There was hardly anyone there. Had to relearn all the "what not to do" things. Last few runs of the day things started to come together. My personal best so far on street tires. 12.7s @ 114mph. Can't wait for the drag radials.

Sounds like a very good track day. I thought of stopping by Epping as I was coming back from Loudon after staying overnight, but I figured I was having enough trouble hooking in the cold weather on moderate launches for some of the course work Saturday, that it wouldn't really be worthwhile.

Here's a few shots from yesterday (courtesy of my daughter's photography work):

There was some bitter complaining from the photographer that the car was cornering too flat, and unless there was water spray or tire smoke, it would look like it was parked (like the second photo) instead of dramatic on the skidpad

Yeah, it surely was. I would have paid good money for another 10 degrees on the temp of the air and pavement, but you can't have everything.

I also shot some video:

Btw: if you have the bandwidth, adjust the resolution at the bottom, looks better in HD

Looks like a blast!

How did mach and shad do at the track?

My blower build may be put on hold for a few months. Found something I may purchase that myself AND the misses to be really enjoy.

i went to the track on saturday with mach and a couple of my friends...i didn't run because i have my wheel bearing issue that i need to take care of first...Grayson "mach" consistantly ran 11.5 11.6 the 5 runs that i saw him do...heard that beautiful supercharger whine a few times too

Wheel bearing, how longs that been going on for?

I'll have to wait a tad longer for the supercharger whine

Yeah, it really is fun. They're running another one in June, I may do that one too, would really like to give it a go with warm pavement.

Blah. So not only did I miss out on registering for the first SCCA autocross yesterday, I didn't get to the suspension either because I got sick again.

Torch, glad you had fun at your event. Autocrossing in the wet can be fun.
