Low and behold I was browsing craigslist and theres a guy selling stock GT500 LCA's for only $80 ... So I may be picking them up. (sorry for the long story)
That's about 1/2 the new price, and they're good control arms (that's what I'm running at present)

In case anyone hasn't seen it, Erich Pilatti, one of our longtime chapter members (and someone I consider a personal friend) sadly just lost his Dad recently.

So... I love the old muscle car rake look, and I was thinking about doing it to my car (Only lowering the front) and I was wondering if it would mess anything up drivetrain/computerwise if the car wasn't lowered evenly.

It won't improve handling, but neither should it break anything.

Had something funny happen to me the other day.

Sunday, I'm leaving my fiancee's parents place. They have the house on one side of the driveway, and a fence on the other, so the echo of the exhaust is quite good.

Start the car up, no more then a second later, *POP*, and something sounds funny so I shut the car off.

Start it up again, and something is off. Right side sounds different then the left. I figure, my parents place and my tools/ramps is .1mile away, lets go there.

The car sounds like it belongs in NASCAR. Just ridiculous sounding the whole ride down the street. As it turns out, the clamp after the H pipe had slid down, and it popped off. So I was running an open header on one side. Sounded pretty bad ***.

Yeah, I figured it wouldn't improve handling, just wanted the look. The sway bars I'm getting are for handling

Don't know if you grabbed those yet but I have some GT500 arms NIB (never installed) that I am willing to part with for 80.00. I'll be at Ford Fest this weekend.
