Oh, and some of you know that I have a Whipple 2.3 kit waiting to be installed .... last night I finally set the appointment to have it installed.
Was gonna do it myself, but for the price I got, and the guy that's gonna be doing it, I can't pass it up, to make sure it's done right.

I'm definitely all set with this winter. Regardless of expected weather, I'm taking the snow tires off next weekend. Then I have to start removing my mods before the GT arrives at the dealership. If prior delivery speed from this dealer is any indication, however, I have about 11 weeks before then

Woo! This time it didn't take 8 weeks to get a build date. Unfortunately, however, the ETA to my dealership is still 13 weeks, just like my first Mustang. And, if I'm lucky, my car might even be born on the Mustang 50th Anniversary!
Right now the car has a scheduled "build date" of 4/14/14, which is the date they put it on the assembly line. I don't know how long it takes these days to create a custom car, but if it either gets delayed or it takes a few days (unlikely), then there's a chance I could be one of the lucky few!
Doesn't really matter much, but thought it might be interesting. The delivery date, however, is currently 5/30/14. Why it will take 6 weeks to get to New Hampshire from Michigan I have no idea, but no matter. At least I'm not left waiting forever for a build date! Getting excited again!

We plan on heading out around 9PM from the south shore.
Taking I95 to NY then on to I78 W to I81 S, to I77 S.
NY traffic shouldn't be to bad at 1AM, then we avoid Philly and
DC taking this route.
About 13hrs driving time. Should be there by noonish.
Two mustangs so far if you want to join us and make it a threesome.
Let me know Torch.

Sounds like pretty much what I had in mind (definitely want to slip past the NYC area mess in the wee hours).
We've got a small contingent from Mustangs of Massachusetts on Facebook going. Makes sense to see if we can merge the groups (probably end up with 6-7 cars)
