Ok guys.

Our threads for cruises and what not usually fill up with 6 pages of nonsense, and nobody can ever find the info.

This thread is 100% for the purpose of shooting the **** between us all and not clutter up "important" threads.

I'll start by posting this!

well since this is for chit chat, can't wait to get that turbo installed. already stated buying everything I need to convert to the 07+ cooling setup. Found a lightly used coolant crossover on ebay for the tidy sum of $28, just need to get the hoses t-stat, and t-stat housing. priced the rest of that stuff at rock auto for $104 all motorcraft parts. On the 17th I order the kit :-D

What kit are you going with? On3, hellion, or something else?

Its a kit based off of the on3, but with all 304SS tubing and a comp turbo.

I would HIGHLY recommend you go with the billet wheel

Ohh ok I see. I've considered turbo, but when it comes down to it I honestly think I would get a supercharger when the time comes for me to go FI.

Its a hard debate really, and it will go on till the end of time!

Usually the twin screw guys always say a TS is better because of instant boost. Nowadays with the billet wheel turbos they spool soooooo quick its just a matter of opinion.

Nobody can contest the fact that a turbo will make more power pound for pound of boost than any other power adder. Its just personal preference.

Exactly. Most turbo-ed cars from the factory use smaller turbos to spool real quick, and they usually make 90%+ of their torque from 1500rpm.

Then you just open up the exhaust and get some more top end out of them.

It just comes down to personal preference.

Thumbs up New Battery Connector EasyclicK system

" EasyclicK system " is the way to go : We hade the same problem with 70 Mach 1 and 67 Eleanor Conv that we have . if you let the cars park to longh with out start them expecialy the Mach 1 ( 351 C 4V High compression ) after 2 try the battery will go kaput . We came back about a month or so from our trip to CA where we found a New type of battery connector the Name " EasyclicK system " it works wonder .We never hade any more problem the Mach 1 it starts right up .When we don`t use our cars we disconect our batterys and i can`t told you how easy it`s Plus the connectors they give a very clean look to the battery . Look at the video and pass this on if you like it .
I love it !! I don`t need to have anyone reconect my battery i do it my self now

you're 100% right...the SHO's torque starts at idle and ranges through up to 2000rpm if im not mistaken...i love being at a stop light and just blowing off the line in my mgrs demo lol

Its the tiny turbos.

Just like the 335 BMW's, they make crazy torque off idle and pull to redline
