I've seen a lot of Mustangs in my day and this is one beautiful car. I love the paint color and I liked your original thought process going with the stripes (Black and red stripes looked the best and I loved the wheels in your 2nd post). I'm not a big fan of vinyl or having 5.0 painted on fenders. Installing an emblem painted in a matte black finish might complement your paint color but do what makes you happy because its your car and you're the one paying the bill.

Michael
To tell you the truth I just didn't trust the body shop to do the stripe
I had to use them as ford was paying to repaint the hood

So I figured put fenders with no holes, and down the road I can do whatever I want. Going to let the new paint cure for a few weeks before I do anything

So for now it will be a stealth look

picking her up friday, yaaaaaa
get rid of the stupic crapmaro

Nice! I hope they did a great job for you. The place that did mine left a lot of orange peel and dust marks. Has me annoyed every time I go over it cleaning.

So far looks good, but silver does hide orange peel better than red. If you want I have a porter cable buffer/polisher I am going to polish mine once the paint cures, if you want we can do yours at the same time, and see if we can improve the paint. maybe we can have agroup detailing day this spring

Here are some pics I took today, the light sucks but will give you a idea

they even clear coated under the hood

I have a porter cable too, so if we did do a group detailing session we could have at least two available.

This would be awesome... I was thinking of doing it myself, but I've never buffed down to paint and don't want to screw it up. I've been watching Youtube videos on wet sanding and it really scares the crap out of me!

Maybe sometime around mid-May?
