Hey Jazzer, I am building a daily/weekend track car. I do not mind NVH, currently just put on Koni Yellows with BBK Linear rate springs. I do not yet have SFCs, have a missing front sway bar, everything else suspension wise is stock. I also have blown quad shocks .
What would you recommend doing next (2001 Mustang GT). Sway bars? Rear LCA and removal of quad shocks? Saving for SFCs? Up for any advice

I cannot tell you if the Crown Vic and Mustang hubs are the same What I can tell you is that your OEM brakes with good pads, fluid and SS lines will stop 100% as well as anything you might install. The only real difference between the finest aftermarket brakes and these upgrades to your OEM ones is a bit better cooling. That and maybe stronger calipers is the only tangable difference for street brakes. Better brakes are only going to be beneficial when you get them really cookin'.

Hello Jazzer, I'm upgrading my brakes, again, and am looking into Pure Forge/ Ray Gun Technologies Rotors. They make them mostly for motor cylces, but they have recently developed entie brake systems for crown vics in mostly Interceptor packages.

My question to you is, are the Crown Vic hubs the same as the new edge stangs? Are the brake systems the same? I'd love to get a set instead of cobra R brakes if that was the case.

I honestly don't know if that is a good idea or not, as I am not aware of your ULTIMATE goals. ANY performance mod without this in mind is very likely to end up being wasted money Stabilizer bars are a tuning device and should be the very last thing one installs on the suspension.

Head over to the S197 Performance section, linked it after your initial post, and ask your questions there. They know your model and will be of much better help than I.

Hey Jazzer I was looking for info on suspension and man I found the motherload when I found your guide. I am currently racing autocross (still a novice) with a final goal of drifting. Driving an 03 Mach 1 right now working on the cash part to start throwing suspension mods at it but after reading through only half of your guide I'm already fired up on how good you say the handling can get with the Stang. Just wanted to drop you a line to say thank you. And I will probably be in contact for your further advice once I have the funds to do anything.
