Default My 1967 Coupe

Hey people!

I got my first car, a 1967 Ford Mustang Coupe when I was 15 (Im 16 now)
I always loved old muscle cars, and didnt want a ricer to be my first car, so I saved money for about 4 years and then finally I met someone who had a 1967 Coupe for sale. We went there to have a look and 2 weeks later she stood in our garage, the 26th August 2010. I got her for 3000€ ($4317)..
It wont be finished soon.. Im only 16, still go to school and unfortunately you don't get money for doing nothing
It has a 351 engine from a 1970 Mustang, I think im going to keep that one because the original was a 289.
Soo here is a video for you guys with some pics of the car
Have a nice day!

Thanks folks, school ends in 1 week.. and I found a job for 2 weeks..
And the awesome thing is that I found a job in a garage where they restore american muscle cars, that guy has a Eleanor sitting in the garage somewhere
And he said he wouldnt give me money but would give me parts for my stang, which I think is a pretty great deal!
Oh and between, Happy 4th of July Stangers!

I kind of got the same story im 15 and just got my 67 coupe. Has a solid block but the tranny was a little touchy from the previous owner trying to put it together with the wrong tools. got mine for a steal at 1500 with no body damage and no bondo.

Great to hear, do you have a thread of it here? Good luck on your stang!

Thanks, what you mean by specific plans? I want it to be red later on, maybe the original color it had, Candy Apple Red, maybe another red..
I'll keep but completly overwork the engine, which is a 351C 2V. Other then that I try to keep the things as original as possible. Byside the interior, which was red but I really didn't like that, so the interior will be back later on

Oh and between.. bodywork will start in some weeks, I'll post photos
