My 2011 5.0 The Beginning
Just got it a month and half ago, just turned 2100 miles. Only upgrade is wheels, Boss 302 Laguna Seca.
Baseline stock 1/4 mile run.

Don't know where to start as for as performance mods go but will be doing a lot of homework. Have to let the wife kind of forget about the $/rims and tires before I start buying. I noticed this site doesn't have much on diy/how to posts. If I missed the how to section please point me there please.

Congratz on the new ride!
Base model? Brembos? Manual/Auto Gearing? What are the details!
As far as mods, I mean just do a search. There are plenty of modded 2011s running around on this forum including mine
Mods really depend on what you want for the car in the end. I have learned the hard way and am not making the mistake again. You pay to play, and it is better and in the end cheaper to go all out first, and not half *** it... By this I mean a couple things. The first is that if you plan on super/turbocharging th car, then done mess with a Cold Air Intake.
So I will make it easy since I have the time and am bored...
No matter what...
1. Handheld Tuner... SCT is my preference, but Diablo is a good company too.
2. Lowering Springs
3. Shocks/Struts
4. Strut Tower Brace... I couldnt believe it, but I felt a large difference when cornering hard, plus it looks fantastic. (They make ones that fit over a supercharger)..
5. Long Tube Headers.. American Racing or Kooks are both good.
6. Catback Exhaust.. Millions of brands.. I like my Magnaflows..
7. X-Pipe with Long tubes, to get rid of those pesky cats...
8. Intake Catch can..
9. Paint valve covers haha... It looks waaaay better imo
10. Tint!
Optional stuff haha...
1. Super or Turbo
2. Gearing
3. LCAs
4. Panhard Bar
5. New Shifter if manual
Plus lots of other stuff haha I could go on and on..
Good luck and happy Modding!

GT premium with auto trans. had enough of shifting, saddle trim. No brembos, I do regret not getting that option. Shock 3:15 gears.
I do not have plans in supercharging. I have already installed a C&L CAI and SCT bama tune, which my internal dyno says half a second on my 1/4 mile is gone. The car now feels as fast if not faster than the evo I traded for it. Cat back will be next, which one? Leaning to the borla touring but don't know yet. I heard the magnaflow had drone issues, is this true? To the track soon to see what the CAI and the tune did. I can say that I am happy that these upgrades are costing less than anything I ever bought for that evo.

There is really no drone on mine. It gets a little annoying around 1800-2000 where I guess you can say there is drone, but there is that in the car as well.
Overall it sounds amazing! If you get tired of the sound of your engine, well maybe you should go buy a Pruis... Now I have to go wash my mouth out for saying that...
