2006 Mustang GT Tungsten Gray
Tomorrow will officially be a year I've owned my GT. It's been a great car. I've done just a few mods so far.
Current Mods
- Complete FRPP Handling Pack including struts, shocks, K-springs, front and rear sway bars, and strut brace.
- Steeda short upper control arm, Steeda billet lower control arms, Steeda Panhard Bar, and Panhard Bar Brace.
- Ford Stinger axle backs
- K&N CAI
- GT500 Rear Spoiler painted to match
- Steeda Spyder wheels 20x9.5 front and 20x11 rear
- Nitto NT05s 275/35 20s front and 315/35 20s rear
I also purchased the CDC aggressive chin spoiler and Agent 47 side view mirrors that i need to paint and install.
This is how I bought the car December last year. Came with the Ford Stinger axle backs and K&N cold air intake already on it. Bought it from Milham Ford as a certified Ford used vehicle with 39k miles on it.
This is how she looks now...

Thanks guys! Yeah the Tungsten gray is very unique. I almost passed up on this one for a black one identical to it. It had 9k less miles on it but the previous owner didn't take that good a care of the paint and the dealership wanted $2k more for it. It also isn't Ford certified with a 6 year warranty that I have on the gray one I bought. I picked this beauty up for $16,900 with 39k original miles and in near mint shape in and out. It's Ford certified for 6 years or 60k miles on the drivetrain and I added coverage for electronics. The previous owner also added a brand new K&N CAI kit on it and a Ford Racing axle back kit so that was included with the sale of the car when I bought it. When I got it home I opened the trunk and in there was the K&N CAI box. I opened it and the original OEM air box components were neatly tucked in there, Somebody took care of this car.

Only issues I noticed with it so far in the 4500 miles I put on it in the last year is...
- Upper control arm bushing was cracked and soon would need to have been replaced
- Lower control arm bushings starting to crack. I replaced all this stuff new with Ford Racing parts and Steeda parts anyways. No big deal.
- A/C compressor starting to get noisy, still works fine but noisy.
- Rear brake pads probably should've been replaced before selling it to me.
- The catalytic converter is rattling. Material inside is braking up on one/both. When it starts to warm up it stops. Car is also "growing" louder the more I drive it LOL. Not a bad thing, actually sounds good but it's droning a little now. This I believe will be replaced at no charge according to my mechanic. He used to be a Ford tech and told me that these issues should've been taken care of for the Ford certification. He did many of them. Small issues though.
