I just got a SCT Tuner (BAMA) and it is a noticeable difference. However because it is a daily driver the best thing is it makes more torque down low now and that helps with cruzing at lower gears which saves MPG.

Sharp looking car man. I didn't know red leather could be had in the newer Mustangs. Any ideas on aftermarket wheels or are you going to stick with the stockers for now?

Car looks great! I agree, sounds like you've had a rough introduction to mustangs, but I'm sure that will change for the better soon.

And is your car lowered by any chance? Previous owner mod? Because that front wheel fender gap is way too small for stock, car looks really aggressive with that stance!

I love the red interior too, the dealer photos had it looking a bit pink, but in person (or with the right white balance) they are amazing. Still haven't done much with it, but I did finally make it to the body shop so it can lose the scars it picked up in November, but I'm driving a VW Golf at the moment (yuck).

We did drive up to Vermont again (for New Year) and here's an obligatory snow shot:

Regarding the wheels, I don't want these ones anymore, I saw some machined ones on a 2013 V6 that look really nice, but I'm leaning towards some 18" machined or dark grey AMR wheels, along with a GT brake bracket and better rotors. Not sure how long I'll be waiting to get that though... I'm also working on a mod to lighten the car by 100lbs, so far I'm 9lbs into that (yes, I'm talking about my own fat ****).

I think some chrome 18" Shelby or GT500 wheels would work wonders for you.

But most of all good luck with the weight loss! I just lost 30 pounds of fat and now I am building up muscle. Went from 29% Body fat @ 205lb to 19% body fat @ 175lb

That's awesome! Thanks for the words of encouragement.

I just checked on the insurance claim and the shop sent the person's insurance company an estimate of $1,200 to repair and repaint the fender and bumper and replace the front left headlight (I guess she broke a bracket on it) and it looks like I'll remain Mustang-less until the 17th.

Clean stang.. nice interior too. But do you plan to re-tint the windows? Mine came with dark tint, and there are some scratches and streaks on them, but i'm going to leave them on. Looks way better with tint.

Also, i'm surprised wheels aren't at the top of your list.. are those stockers 15"?

edit: just saw above.. definitely get some 18's.. i'd get at least 9 inches wide to improve handling and grip. I'd personally get wheels first, then CAI/tuner, then probably some lowering springs. Everything else is just nickle and diming for power

Yeah, it looks like braking improvements depend on the wheels, so I think wheels are going to be first up as soon as I have enough money. Then GT brakes and chassis. I'm trying to resist power mods as I'd rather pay down the loan and then see about trading it for a GT in a year or two...

I don't care about the tints, they make visibility poor, so they aren't getting replaced. Visibility out of the rear windows don't matter quite so much.

Well I've only lost 15lbs of me, need to work harder with that!

I also ordered my first mod, a black billet grille with halo fog lights. Mainly because I don't like having just the yellow markers on if I turn on the sidelights, so I'm going to wire the halos in with the sidelights and have the fogs connected as fog lights (yeah, a novel concept...).

Wheels are still high on my list, I'm still leaning towards the AMRs but might end up just going for the cleanest cheap 18"s so I can get the front brakes beefed up.
