this is my buddies 08 dodge charger 3.5 v-6(because his wife wouldnt let him get a hemi)hes not very car savoy so he asked me to help him out. so far hes got 20% tint all around and 40% on the windshield, custom true dual exaust with flowmaster 40's with4 inch slashed and rolled tips(bet damn v-6 ive ever heard!!!)and he just got a used set of 20's for 600.00 with tires and new lug nuts. next week it will have dual 8 inch flat black racing stripes, red painted calipers, a k&n cold air intake + a programmer then some time in a couple of months hes having black with red inserts leather installed!!!! trust me this car sounds very good!!!! ill have some better pics when we both wash our cars and his stripes are done.

yeah it dosent have very good off the line take off but if you floor it after 30mph it will throw you back in the seat pretty good. oh yah i forgot to mention hes getting teinlowering springs too, i think its a 1.5 inch drop in front and 2 in the back. not bad for a family car to haul around him and his wife and 3 kids!!!! he went from a 2000 full size suburban getting 12 mpg at 140.00 a fill up to 27+ at 65.00 a tank and a lifetime powertrain warranty.

when i had the rental, i got great mileage with that engine...i also had a 2.7 charger for a while, but it was a REAL pig, and got worse mileage than the 3.5...and it only ran 17.20s...
The gas mileage kills it for me otherwise very hot
the 3.5 gets 34+ on the innerstate. my uncle has a 300 with the 5.7 hemi and hes getting 27+ on the innerstate. so the milage really isnt that bad !!!!!!
