Car is a beast for what it is. The turbo is pretty much one of the cheapest turbos for our cars ($550) and I'm making near or over 400whp. I get full spool by 3200rpm's which is real fast and it lights all 4 tires up in 1st and when shifting into 2nd real hard.

The e85 allows me to get 32psi and 27* timing at a safe 11.5:1 AFR. This is with zero detonation. Before when I was on pump gas I ran 18psi max and 20* timing with 4-8 counts of knock (detonation) on a rich 10.9 AFR.

Im getting an hx40 Holset, the turbo used to upgrade Cummins Diesels. Hopefully will get into the 10's on the OEM long block and make 550-600whp.

Havnt got it to the track since I broke my windshield and they wouldnt let me run. Now the track is closed till next summer. Buddy of mine ran best of 12.7 with a 1.9 60' which is horrible.

We have pretty much the same setup, but mine is a little better. With some slicks I'm thinking of an easy low 12. Wish I could go to sealevel and get a mid to low 12 on the same setup.

If you went from 18 pounds to 32 pounds and you're only making 400 HP you're way past the peak of efficiency of that turbo.

Nice ride, though.

Ohh yea I know, this turbo is maxed and is real small. I see full boost by 3600rpms which is pretty quick for that much boost. I will be running a hx35 at 35psi and hoping for 550whp once I swap it in.
