Pinto with the heart of a mustang
Several years ago I started my project to put a larger engine in a little Pinto. I ended up using an 82 gt four eye freak. The mustang was too far damaged for use as a car, but its parts live on in my car. After the purchase, I learned several things
1) the carbed 302 HO had been pulled and had a used up 351w put in its place (score)
2) The T5 trans did not occur until 83 in these cars and I had an Srod in its place
3) It is easier to dismantle a car than I ever imagined.
4) The fox mustang and pinto share the same length driveshaft so I now have a spare.
looking at the images on the right that I can include in the body, why is one of them a camaro?
Here is my car as it is now, still in progress, but runs like a whipped pony
I do have parts from the 82 gt, that will be sold in the proper location if there is an interest.
