Stig's Official Z06 Thread
Hey, I figure if Skar gets a thread for his Miata I should make one too.
When I bought the car it had a K&N Intake and Borla Exhaust plus a few aesthetic mods which you can see below.
The first thing I did was hard wire my Escort Passport 9500ix Radar Detector and ran the wire through the headliner next to the rear view mirror. I wired the mute button down to the center consul and it sits were one of the cigarette lighters used to be and can be covered by the flip down cover, as you can see in other pics.
I ordered some black suction cups from Cobra, attached them to the Escort bracket and put the suction cups in my windshield tint. This way I can take down the radar detector and no one can see anything on the windshield. The system is totally hidden and draws no attention from law enforcement or thieves.
Its hard to see from the pics but it is up and out of the way while you are driving, and you can't see it through the windshield or the windows, even if they're down.
The mute button and lights, can be covered by flip down cover. Doesn't look good now, but my nitrous switch panel will cover the wires on the right (more on that later) and I'm going to make a panel to cover the area above the escort buttons.
When I bought the car it had yellow fill in letters on the passenger side dash which I like, but no floor mats. I ordered some Lloyd's floor mats and I really like them. You can also see the Radar detector lights are covered in this pic.
The previous owner also had black fill in letters on the rear and painted the bottom rear of the car black. Both of which are subtle and I really like. The bottom now looks like a rear diffuser but its just part of the body, unlike the C6 Z06 which really does have a diffuser.
And these should be going on soon. With the X pipe I have these will hook up to my borla exhaust and with a tune, should be good for 30 RWHP.
More on future mods soon

I ordered a Nitrous system today with everything I need, including a window switch and remote bottle opener. The plan is to spray a 125 wet shot from 3k-6200 RPM in 2nd through 4th gear. Its hard enough to hook up in 1st gear with out spray.
This is the nitrous panel that will go next to my radar detector's mute button that I posted earlier. And will also be able to be covered by the flip down cover.
I'm going to have gauges on the A pillar to monitor bottle pressure and fuel ratio. Wont have digital gauges though.
Should get the nitrous system next week and hopefully will have everything installed in the next 2 weeks. Taking it to the dyno soon after for tuning and my goal of 500 rwhp should be pretty easily achievable.

lol, we'll see how stupid it is when I'm in the 10s. Thanks for your comments though, I do enjoy the sound of the LS6, especially past 6k rpm. I may have to attach a cam on the back one day and make a video.
nope yours is red, mines blue. That is pretty cool though. I love how it filters everything out with the GPS. Only detector I've ever had that never goes off except for actual police radar. That's why it got the nod from me instead of the V1.
