An update on this car:

It was inevitably bound to happen. I ordered this supercharger kit and these headers for my Crown Vic. I already have the exhaust installed, and the Vortech is going in next week. it should end up looking like this:

I am beyond salvation. I can't seem to be able to leave any of my cars alone anymore. But what the heck! I figured, what's better than having a supercharged Ford V8 car?

Having TWO supercharged Ford V8 cars.

Dude that is so cool. Have you run her at the track?

Hows the TCI trans holding together on the mustang? You still racing it a lot?

Not much track time on the Mustang anymore, which is a pity considering I ended buying up the Centerline Convo Pros, and M/T Drag tires that I've been borrowing for the last few track visits. There's just no way to pack the wheels/tires/jack/tools/compressor/misc. in a single car, let alone a rear-seat deleted Mustang. I may just end up selling the Mickey Thompson Drags and getting some ET streets or something I can at least drive on to the track.

Also, my Mustang seems to be getting the dreaded "water leak" related electrical problems lately. Sometimes it simply will not start; even with a full battery and brand new starter. It doesn't matter if you try to jump it, disconnect the batt, pull fuses, etc. It won't even try to crank. It will start when it feels like it, hours, even a day later; and then start normally every time after that for a few days. My mechanic is going to give it a thorough check AFTER the Vortech Crown Vic is done.

Maybe the Mustang just got jealous of all the attention the Vic was getting.

Ah the dreaded water leak, that sucks.

I pack my 17x10 Bullitts with MT 295/45 rubber, one in the trunk and other in the back seat area. I have a portable compressor, small jack, tire chaulks, tools etc all stuffed in the trunk. Helmet, jacket, cooler in the passenger seat. Car is full. LOL

Good luck and give us some crown vic numbers when you get them cause you gotta run that baby at the track now.
