Driving with the wipers on today, all of a sudden they stop. Didn't blow the fuse, so I may have to try and get to the motor.
Edit: let it sit while I ate lunch. When I turned the key on they tried, but stopped again. I nudge them and they will move for a second. Guessing my wiper motor is about shot.

Time for a wiper motor for you...

Here's where I started this morning.
Exhaust and intake manifolds off.
Rockers and pushrods out.
Kept them all in order.
and POOF!
****ty weld on exhaust manifold.
All in all, it wasn't too bad getting it off. Took my time and had help from my buddy. Thankfully because I was not feeling very motivated this morning.
I could easily identify where the gasket had lost it's seal between it and the head along the areas where it was leaking.
Hopefully i get the head back Tuesday sometime.
Debating on whether to tackle the timing chain and front main seal while the head is off or after I get it back on.
I did manage to break the stupid PCV elbow on the valve cover so I'll have to find a new one this week.
Critical tools that I struggled with so far, 1/2" DEEP 12 point socket, preferably 1/2 drive to get the head studs off.

Dang it Jeff, it's catching. I come out of the shop yesterday and see a few drops under my Jeep. It's coming off the tranny/transfer case skid plate. So I will have to figure out exactly where.

Buttoned it up today but I'm going to let the RTV that I used on the corners of the oil pan gasket cure overnight.
Uh oh, is that where it's leaking from Chris? Sounds like a good time for an Advance adapters slip yoke eliminator and a Tom woods rear driveshaft.
