Default Convertibles at Car Shows?

Whats the rule with covertibles at car shows? Top up, or top down? Taking my Stang to it's first show tomorrow and just curious at what people think about it.

Thanks,
Alex

O yea and I'll post pics when I get back around 5 or so...

They usually want it up for the judging, to be sure it's in good shape.

I would say down for judging. You will have to open your doors if you don't drop the top. They want to see the interior.

I have always had mine down. I have a speedster cover that covers my top and I have never been asked to put my top up.

Well I didn't win anything, but it was my first show and my car still has a lot of work to do. I just cleaned it up really nice to make it look good. Guess it wasn't quite good enough yet. Lots of nice cars there! Heres some pics I took from the show...

Sweet Shelby signed by Mr. Shelby on the dash!

The owner of Central Wisconsin Road Knights. Best of Show

V6 Converted to a V8 w/over 440 HP

Black and Red Shelby in front pumping out 550 HP

It's pretty hard to stand out in a crowd like that. We've just started going to cruise-ins and shows with ours, and I have learned a TON of little details. I think the fact that you love your car enough to spend the hours we all spend, that's reward enough.... Sounds Hokey I know.
