Nice looking 4-eyed stang! I didn't used to like this style but for some strang reason they're really growing on me now. Yours is a remarkable example.

I just came across this forum and thread and decided to register to add to the thread.

83gtragtop, nads83, your mustangs have a triplet sister. I also have a triple black 83 convertible GT.
It looks just like 83gtragtop's. Though I'm not sure if it's optioned the same. I've had mine in storage since around 94'.

I know there were 107 Triple Black's built of the 1001. I know of 4 now, mine, your two, and one other. I'm sure there are a few more triple-black cars around, somewhere...

Production started May 11 and ended August 31.

nads83, you mentioned yours was built in June, I know mine was built in May, it's #190 of the 1001.

It would be interesting to know more about your two cars. Dates, options, etc..

Default My Triple Black '83 is sold!!!!

83ragtop, tripleblack 83!

Sold my car this week- woman from Kentucky is plannning on picking up on Sunday!

Here are more details on the car: Premium sound with Amp pulls, cloth seats (suposedly only 77 with black exterior, cloth black interior), A/C, 5 speed, born June 29th (yellow date stamps still on trunk and hood), Z code rear (3.08), TRX package (wheels in boxes).

What did I do!!! I really, really want a 2011 5.0L, so the first step was to move the '83 (for the garage space and the downpayment). Problem is, I really don't have the rest of the cash to buy the new one, and the wife doesn't see the need!

Wish me luck. When I get the new owner's full info, I'll pass it on the you guys!

Dean
