Welcome aboard!

Thanks for posting the pics. It cool seeing the difference between american and aussie cars. Like the steering wheel being on the wrong side LOL.

What other car pics do you have? Any car shows in your area?

yeah i do have a heap of pics from car shows but i cant find them on the computer at all! they are mainly of ford falcon's, 60's mustangs and holden commondores. i think america had the latest commodore as a pontiac something before they went bust.
anyway, we do have some great cars over here and i will upload some pics when i can find them!

if you want to read about our top current fords go here: http://www.fpv.com.au/fpv-range/overview.aspx
the gt range is with the 315kw 5.4 litre boss v8 (for now, until we get the coyote 5.0 v8) and the f6 range has our very own 310kw 4 litre DOHC inline 6 turbo. it is a very good car that out performs the v8!

for anyone that doesnt know, in australia you are a ford fan or a holden fan (owned by GM), (u can't really be both!) and here is the holden side of things.
http://www.hsv.com.au/hsv/showroom/

they are also a great car.
anyway, hope you like wat we have!

Holden is amazing, but I really like the old Falcon XBs.

Those are some neat looking cars. Some of them almost look like subarus.

I remember seeing a lot of those cars (not those exact ones, but you know what I mean) when I visited Australia back in 1999. It was amazing to me that both Ford and Holden had stayed with the front engine rear drive layout during the '80's and '90's, while Ford and GM in North America had for the most part switched over to the front wheel drive layout for most of their cars. The only exceptions were Mustangs, Camaros, Corvettes, and of course pickups and SUVs, and a few other odds and ends. Kind of made me wonder what the North American car market would have been like had we stayed with the front engine rear drive layout.

Cheers Mate!
