I have a 2006 Ford Mustang, I'm debating on what color stripes to put on it! My car color is the metallic grey, and I was curious if silver stripes would look good on it! I had black stripes on it before, and liked it but I'm ready for some change

The right color silver should look good. It needs to complement, not contrast.

If you want a strong contrast, go with white.

I concur with Scotty..

Silver and grey are almost a catch-all - most colors will work with it as long as you're in the same Hue family and not super-contrasting..

but for my opinion.. matte black would be my fav. with that metallic grey
