well my plane are to make it go from an already enjoyable car to something I really want to enjoy, and have a little fun with at lets say a track or drag strip but still keep the sleeper look that the "V6 has" (was told by an exhaust shop two days ago (time of this post) that the V6 Mustang was a car that was only meant to "look good"well I beg to differ on that and plan to build the little pony up some and give it that bit of power.

anyways sadly funding is lacking at this time and I am looking to get into doing reviews for cars again as that was fun and how I did a few of my other builds (and made the money for those builds too) but at this time I am just looking for a job.

as for my first mod im thinking the MGW shifter or "upgrading" the steering wheel to the 05+ steering wheel (with out cruise) anyways whats your thoughts on this process?

here is another upgrade that Im thinking for starting off my build oof making this into what I really want!

Im thinking either a stock Ford satnav system

or possibly this one

well got the Mustang back from the shop and it feels so much better and feels a bit more peppier as well now that the exhaust leak is resolved and i can drive it with out concern that im going to get gassed out of my own car!!

sadly the snow (white rain) is back so I didn't have time to prep the garage again and all that jaz, so I did the next best thing (and don't laugh at it, I know its tacky looking but it works...and the nice part is all I do is peel off a layer and the snow is removed, no more scraping the windows....

well went out to the car today (morning) and removed the snow off it and warmed it up some, also disabled the belt minder (finally peace and quiet if i just want to sit in it and do some work and go no where...) course ford I wish would have made it simpler but meh its off, I never relised one could be made so annoying!!!!!

anyways installed a LED bulb only to find out all but two LEDs are bunt out...not sure if thats due to it being removed or me putting it in while the door was open...but its china made and I had it for over 5 years so I suppose its time to replace it...oh well now only if i could just find the rest of those bulbs....

determined the interior lamp will need replacement as the little grabber arm thing for the festoon bulb appears to be loose (i can move it easy as if its been over stressed n its life) but thats going to be an easy fix, just need to go to a salvage yard and grab the base unit and swap it out.

on good news the issues are officially fixed, and the stang is sounding so much better!!!

also thinking of purchasing either a strut bar or a Kmember, not sure what I want to do yet, may start easy, but as for the K members Im looking at two from Steeda and can't tell what the differences are other then price and that one is tubular and the other I guess is not....

Hey man I don't know if you're into used parts but if you are, check out corral.net. That site has a huge classified section.

cool glad to know, on the suspension I most likely will stick with new (huge safety factor there) but for the CAI and things like that that arn't as safety impacting I will definatly take a look, thanks for the info!! hope you have enjoyed the thread so far! sorry its not much of a build yet!!

well now that the snow is stopped and the car is unwrapped, I am beginning the slow process of shoveling the driveway out, and also finishing the garage clean out so I can put the stang back into hiding, also found a new website of a company called Extreme Power House (http://www.x-ph.com/) and already looking to see what they have to offer to further my build!!! (this is all I really needed LOL!!!)

anyways thoughts? tips or suggestions?

Well found this little gem today, and figured I would pick it up as I been looking for a comfortable pistol grip style shifter and this works very nicely, also compaired to the other one I had attempted to use this fits much better and didn't seem as chitty when it comes to fitment or how it holds on, and partly didn't want to wait to have something delivered off of evilbay, also figured its better then the chitty ones out there and an improvement over stock and it doesnt look at all chitty compaired to some other styles I saw, one down side is that it looks like I may need to hammer (lightly of course) the plastic adapter down more as its still sits up higher then I really want it to, but meh enjoy

well I ordered a new air filter for Buddy (the Mustang) so I am hoping it will be here by the end of the week, I ordered the AmsOil (which I am one of there preferred dealer/customers for) EA filter the EAA289, so once the existing airfilter gets to the change out point I will be changing that out with this one, and at the same time doing the silencer delete!

well I was bored so I figured since the other half was at work I would do something to keep my self busy and did the air snorkel mod, but here is where things got different, I did a slight mod to the mod, I figured why not, the goal with this mod is to do the same as the is intended to get more air into the filter box but minimize the chance of dirt getting into things (yes I know the filter is there to prevent dirt from getting into the engine, but this is intended to minimize the amount of dirt that might get kicked up from getting into the filter therefore extending the time between filter changes (hopefully)

anyways here are the pictures, which will be pretty explanatory of the process, tools you need are a set of scissors (I used open alls) and an 8mm socket with extender on it
