I have for a second time a shot 3rd gear synchro. my trans has 120k miles on it and is daily driven. I want to make it a higher hp car around 500 once I get a new motor and a new daily driver. What do you guys recommend for my transmission for now? should I get a built 3650 or something like a t56 or tko?

Shoot, I missed your t45 question. We can build up to a 700ft-lb t45, or build you a 3650 to replace the t45, which is what most guys do because the t45 is no longer factory supported so there are no new parts being made by Tremec for it. Give me a call anytime at 931.646.4836 ext 103 and we can discuss your options. Gray

Hey, Orange, sorry for the delay getting back to you. The problem probably stems from re-using the bolts. Once they have been tightened to spec the threads get stretched and will not seat properly. A new set of bolts and blue thread locker should work with no problems. Hope this helps. Gray@AP
