    sorry about the late reply, havent been on here in months

    is the headunit not getting power or the subs? if its the headunit then i'd say make sure your reds and blacks are matched and its grounded. If its the subs then I'd check voltage regulator and check ohms on each side of it and make sure current is running through it when the headunit is turned on. The new amp will be using the non voltage regulated turn on signal coming from the headunit. The ford amps for some reason require less voltage then normal. As far as this new amp and subs, I never ended up doing that so I'm not positive on how to do that. I'd say try and buy RCA splitters so you can have 2 white and 2 red outs from the head unit (one set for the ford amps and the other for the new one) then prior to the voltage regulator for the turn on, splice another wire in that will go to your new amp. This should in theory work, but I am not really positive and did this install over a year ago. Not as caught up on all this stuff as I used to be.
