    I usually just leave the shifting to the tune. Which is why I always as my tuners to extend the shift points a bit from their usual defaults. And yes, I beat the hell out of my car everyday. I've had it for over a year and not a single issue.

    thanks for the heads up on the tuner adjustment. however I did key in the change. I'll tell ya, it scared the **** out of me when it just stood there peged at 6k! this car is not my daily driver and I've only had it on the road for around 5 miles since that incident,,,

    I'll try reprograming it again. this time in race mode.

    quick queston if you know, I've had this car 6months and Before this shift issue, I always manuel shift and never [ almost ] shift under 4.5k. can these cars handle this kind of abuse? my daily is a 4cyl CJ so when I'm behind the 4.6 I can't contain myself......I know where theres friction theres wear but,but,but.....
