My stang has 162,000+ miles on it. I did have some repairs to do on it. Since it is a convertible, that needed replacement. The stock drive shaft in this year stang is crap. I bought the car and found out later that it was bent. It took out the rear end....so I put in a brand new off road shaft from a local (Las Vegas) firm who specializes in driveshafts. No problems now.....My engine is tight, good power and the auto trans is doing well but planning to have it overhauled due to its mileage....preventive maintenance.
