Hey--

I wanted to order some products to detail my car. I have a porter cable, but need bacling plate and pads. Also, Have some swirl marks and a few light scratches. What would you recommend? Also, Which pads will I use with each product? Is there a guide u would recommend to detail my car?

The Craftsman buffer that you are talking about doesn't have enough power to do any kind of paint correction, it is basically just to put on waxes. If you want to do swirl removal and paint correction you would have to bump up to a Porter Cable polisher. I recommend going with the Optimum Compound and then finishing off with the Optimum Polish. Then top that with either my Wet Wax or new Wet Obsession paste wax, both look awesome on black!

Hey Justin, I have spoke with you before and have another question. I have an 06 GT Black thats kept outside and in fairly bad shape paint wise. Swirled real bad and in need of a waxing. I have a Craftsman 10in Buffer/Polisher. What kind of pads and swirl remover/polish/waxes should I get? I'd like a complete system/package.
