    In the end I very carefully cut the leaf with a 5" cutoff saw and safety guard removed to see better. IIRC it was about 2" I cut off in order to make work. Over 3000 miles and a 1200 mile international roadtrip with no problems since I cut them! Don't cut these without someone else there with you. The leaf springs are super hard and the cutoff saw tends to bounce around quite a bit the first few passes. You'll need someone else to hold it while you make the cuts. I think I made 10 or more passes to cut through each leaf (1 on each) just scoring it deeper as I went and took a few minutes break every few cuts to keep down heat buildup. Be very careful when your almost through as you do NOT want to score the leaf below. If you do it'll be where it breaks down the road.

    hello i was wondering if you got that CE slide a link traction bar problem fixed for i am having the same problem on my 72 with the 5 leaf hd springs
