An example of upper & lower sub-frame strength as supported by a single jack-stand, courtesy of Griggs Racing.

The upper consists of a 4' x 1.5" square-steel tube welded into frame channel up front and against the rear bulkhead with reinforcing steel plate. The interior must be completely removed for installation and this tube is exposed under drivers seat and elevated 1" above carpet behind it. The lower connector is a 1.25" x 3/4" steel bar welded under front half of sub-frame and to torque boxes out back.

Good frame support, baby.... good frame support

There is not only lower support, but upper as well. The interior had to be removed down to the body to run a square steel tube from front end of frame to the bulkhead below rear seats. You can actually see the upper support above the floor behind the driver and passenger seats. There is about 1" of space between the carpet and the underside of this tube.

I actually was pretty amazed to see this myself . I was working on something and when done, needed to remove the jacks. I didn't notice this soo much as I raised it in increments on side to side. Lowering it down, I was pretty blown away.
