Default Is Anyone Up for Lapeer Saturday September 6?

I'm thinking about filling the bottle and hitting Lapeer on Saturday, try to get my mid 13's. Weather is saying low 70's for Saturday. Anyone else available?

Mid 13s? How big a shot are you running?

...and I won't be able to make it this Saturday.

Only a 75 shot, but if I can hook I'm sure I can improve on the 13.9 with a lot of wheel spin. That day it was so slick on the line that they shut down for about 45 minutes to try to prep it better - I was spinning the drag radials.

With the 75 shot Lidio came up with 251.5RWHP and 330 torque when we dyno tuned it.

Jim I'm going to see if I can make it, barring threatening weather of course. Or if my new grille comes in I'll want to install that instead. I've only been up there once this year and it was hurricane force headwinds, if you recall.

With another 8 RWHP and about 40 less RWTQ, I ran a 8.70x (didn't get the quarter mile part) there at Lapeer. That's pretty much smack in the mid 13s.

My guess is with your extra torque, you should be able to run that easily, considering your driving is up to par. IIRC you have an auto, so that shouldn't be that difficult. What was your 60 ft time on the 13.9 run in your sig?

99GTVERT, the 60' on that pass was 2.052, and I spun the DR's on launch.

Bill, we need to get you freed up and out to the track! You must be going through withdrawals if it has been that long!

Looks like the weather should be fine. TWC said something like partly cloudy skies with a high in the upper 70s. Not a bad day for racing.

It was a great day for racing, temps were high 60's low 70's. The bottle was full and with the sun the trunk stayed nice and warm so pressure was consistent at 900. Hit a new personal best of 13.875 at 100.27 mph with a 60' 2.153 on this pass. (had another 60' at 2.043 for another 13.9)

I lost one slip with a better time so I think that the car has a 13.5 in it once I learn to launch it properly and get the window switch in. Acting as my own window switch isn't easy, too much going on trying to launch, watch the tree and tach, and hit the arm button.
