Done with the stang
Hey guys, It's official, I'll be selling the mustang after I get new brakes (warped rotor) and fix the abs light (dirty sensor probably).
I'm selling it for a few reasons:
1. I'm tired of running slow times in the car. Can't get lower than a 2.17 60ft after the cams... I know I need a converter and I'll be good for 12's...
2. but we need to pay off our credit cards and I don't have the cash for it as well as
3. having a 3rd car that pisses me off because it's "slow" to my standards isn't worth keeping when I have bills to pay
4. I'll be saving on insurance
5. We really want to buy a new house.

98 3x black mustang gt convertible withhhhhhhhhhhhhh:
CAI, TB, Plenum, PI Intake Manifold, Comp Stage 2 Cams (XE268AH), PI heads (ported by lakewood to a "stage 2"), Steeda pullies, Mac H Pipe, 40 Flows (welded in), Diablosport Predator Tuner, Tuned by Donny Walsh jr., 3.73 Gear, Auburn Posi Unit, 99 cobra rims, tranny shift kit, and I think that's all.
Body and bottom end has 123k on the clock (but runs great, compression tested all 8 cyl and came out with 145-153 psi in each cyl), 70k on heads/pi manifold, and under 5k on the cams (cams were installed last year end of august/begining of september).
I'm going to put it for sale for $7,900 and go for there. I know for sure the car will be capable of 12's with a converter, but with this combo: 3200-3600 stall, subframe connectors, and long tubes, this car should be good for a 12.5 or lower. This is an all motor 2v 98 gt. Most people on the road expect me to run 15's so it's nice rolling up to someone and suprising them.... E-mail me if you know of anyone and I'll get back to you asap.
