sounds like just a bad misfire and not related to fuel. check for a cracked plug, bad sparkplug wire/boot, bad ground on one of the coils...

Not sure because I bought the car with no top end on the engine and didn't get to see how everything went together forsure

I'm using 96 mark viii injectors, other than that it's all the factory fuel system
Unless you got the car tuned put the stock 2000 gt injectors back in. The Lincoln has 24lb/hr and the GT is tuned for 19lb/hr. Therefore your motor is drowning in fuel.

I have been running 24 lb/hr's in mine for almost 6 months now with no issues... on the GT computer and tune. Ive read a lot of people not having this being an issue... just sayin.

Hmmm, thats interesting. I've not tried running my 24s from my lincoln motor so I can't argue your point, but that is certainly food for thought.

It wont be the injectors. I was running 5 24lbs and 3 19lbs on mine without issue lol.

Great Thread Has me rethinking putting a 4.6 3v in my 69-f100 MarkVIII motor would be alot cheaper.

What Power level are the 19 lb injectors good to? Can I run bolt ons without running out of fuel?

Also what's everyone run for gears with this swap, I haven't installed my 3.73 yet but from the dyno # posted a few pages back with the power mid range should they be goid

Will I need to have the PATS system reworked in my 99 or can I still have sct tunes written for the swap

300 is about max for the 19's. If you have a stock 4v motor, you'll be fine with the 19's. if you start upgrading it, i would get rid of them asap.

Post 93 Mark VIII engine

Great write up. You summarized most of the answers I was looking for.
I am looking at a 93 Mark VIII Teksid engine with the old style intake and 128K miles.
1) Does the IMRC work with vacuum controls, and if so, does it work automatically without the ECC intervention?
2) Will the throttle body type and location be compatible with a 98 GT?
