Scored a nice set of 01 Cobra exhaust manifolds now I'm looking for the Cobra intake tube but coming up snake eyes so far.

I have a 93 mark viii in my car, on the stock 96 GT tune. Its been 2 years now, 9k miles. I'd say you're fine to drive it around like that for some time lol

Question: Will the motor mounts off of my current 4.6 sohc work with my Mark VIII dohc? I was ogling my new motor last night when I noticed that the guy took the motor mounts off of the block.

Also, I found a guy here locally who is parting out a 2001 Cobra and I am going to pick up the intake tube from him.

Are there any other "gotta have" or "it'd be nice to have" parts off of that engine for me to do this swap?

Yeah, the SOHC motor mounts will work fine. If it's going on your 02, I would look at getting his fuel rail since it's returnless. Not 100% sure it will work on the older, but I have heard that it will.

the mounts are the same.

if you are using the 97-98 mark intake, then yes the 01 cobra intake will work. if you are using the 96-98 cobra intake, then no.

Question: What about the cruise control cable? I am assuming that my SOHC cable will not work. What cable / module do I need to make my cruise work properly.

I needs my cruise control to be functional.
